The kneeboard is a useful collection of text lines. This dialog allows you to view the kneeboard, to add things to it and to clear it. It allows you to browse for text files and then add them to the kneebaord. For example, the current X-Plane aircraft folder often contains helpful text files and checklists for flying the aircraft. Traffic Plan Route button generates a flight plan which can be viewed in the kneeboard. The contents of the kneeboard are saved as a set of files in Resources\plugins\FSImp\kneebaord\current. These files are loaded when X-Plane starts and is saved whenever the kneeboard is modified. You can save and open the kneeboard in another subfolder of Resources\plugins\FSImp\kneebaord.

  • Clear empties the displayed kneeboard tab
  • Open opens a set of files from a chosen folder into all the kneeboard tabs
  • SaveAs saves all the kneeboard tabs into a set of files in a chosen folder
  • Del deletes the topmost line
  • Add adds the text that you enter to the end of the kneebaord
  • Arcrft allows you to browse the current X-Plane aircraft folder for a file to be added to the kneeboard
  • XPlane allows you to browse the main X-Plane folder for a file to be added to the kneeboard
  • FSImp allows you to browse the FSImp folder for a file to be added to the kneeboard
  • File allows you to browse for a file to be added to the kneeboard
  • Speak starts or stops reading the contents of the kneeboard from the line displayed at the top. The co-pilot voice is used.
