The sceneries dialog allows you to see a list of available ADD-ON FS sceneries and to add new ones.

The name of the currently setup scenery.cfg file is displayed at the top. A list of recognised ADD-ON FS sceneries that are defined in the scenery.cfg file is displayed underneath. You can use the scroll bar to move through the list.

After unzipping a new ADD-ON scenery into its correct place (see sceneries) you can use this dialog to add the new scenery to the scenery.cfg file. Perform the following steps ...

  • Use the Browse button to locate any file which is part of the scenery
  • Press the Add button to add this scenery
  • A message is displayed under the input field:
    - Added area: LAYER 'NAME' - added successfully
    - Already in list: 'LAYER NAME' - the scenery was already in the list
    - Not added: LAYER 'NAME' - unrecognised name

  • Auto automatically adds all new folders to the scenery.cfg file. This searches folders recursively from the scenedb, scenery and addon scenery folders of the main FS folder. It may take a few minutes depending on how many folders there are.

  • Cache TITLE generates caches for the scenery displayed on the first line
  • Active allows you to enable or disable scenery displayed on the first line

  • Title displays the scenery title or folder path
  • ReloadCfg reinterprets the scenery.cfg file
  • Cache DEL deletes all caches
  • Cache All generates caches for all sceneries

You can add a number of sceneries and then ...

  • Press the OK button to close the dialog
  • Press the Cancel button to close the dialog
  • Press the Apply button does nothing yet

When you add new sceneries and close this dialog the scenery.cfg file will be reinterpreted and tiles will be reloaded.
